Jaime and Ron met through a mutual friend over a great Pad Thai - a first for Ron - in mid May of 2008. While they have many things in common, like photic sneeze reflex and random outbursts of "beat boxing," they instantly bonded over their love of travel. In fact, as the "Great Pad Thai Night of '08" (as it came to be known) progressed, Jaime and Ron learned that they had each been to the exact same amount of countries - 24! Kismet!

Of course, both Jaime and Ron spent the rest of the evening scratching the deep crevices of their brains trying to think of that one country they might have forgotten, in an attempt to outdo the other. When neither one could come up with just one additional country, they began to realize there must be other forces at work.
